Animal footprints in the new trail
In the framework of renovation of the eastern trail we decided to incorporate within the trail several animal footprint tracks that tell a story, enabling the visitors to learn about the animals from a different perspective. Together with Asaf Ben-David (in the photo), an animal footprints expert who planned and executed the works in situ, including imprinting the tracks, we chose the imprints of a porcupine and a honey badger crossing the trail. On another part of the trail we allowed the birds moving freely in the garden to walk on the fresh concrete and thus obtained their footprints naturally.
